EduJobsCanada.com User Agreement


Your use of EduJobsCanada.com web site constitutes an explicit acceptance of all the conditions stated in this User Agreement.

1 Membership Eligibility

To use the services of EduJobsCanada.com, you must be able to form legally binding contracts under applicable laws, and you must provide truthful and correct information during your registration with our services. We reserve the rights to suspend or terminate your membership if we find your information to be false or misleading. Suspended or terminated members are not eligible to use our services.


2 EduJobsCanada.com is only a Site Provider

EduJobsCanada.com is an online site provider for interested canadian colleges, universities and organizations to advertise their academic job opening, research positions and research candidates to advertise their availability. We have no control over the quality and truthful representation of the job opening or resume listed on our web site. It is your responsibility to verify all relevant information with a company where you decide to send your application or a candidate whom you decide to hire.


3 Advertising on EduJobsCanada.com

By posting a job on EduJobsCanada.com, you acknowledge without reservations that you effectively have a position opening and you intend to hire a candidate. In addition, you state that your recruitment process/criteria are legal in Canada or your country of operations and you do not discriminate against candidates based on arbitrary criteria. 

You may not include in your posting:

– Sexually explicit representation (text descriptions or picture of sexual acts, pornography, and nudity) 

– Morally offensive representations 

Jobs that are posted are subject to review by our staff, and may be removed without prior notice, if considered to be in violation of this User Agreement.


4 Dispute and Release

Because we are not involved in the actual recruitment between companies and candidates, in the event that you have a dispute with one or more users, you release EduJobsCanada.com (and our employees, officers, directors, agents) from any and all types of claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) resulting from such disputes.


5 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EduJobsCanada.com, its officers, employees, parent companies, subsidiaries, contractors, vendors or affiliates, from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of EduJobsCanada.com, your violation of this User Agreement or any intellectual property or other right of any third party.


6 Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL EduJobsCanada.com (INCLUDING OUR SUPPLIERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES) BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, OR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (HOWEVER ARISING, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) RESULTING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF THE SITE.


7 No Warranty

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE OFFERED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON INFRINGEMENT.


8 Fees and Charges

Our fees and charges policy are available on our homepage. We may change our fees and charges by posting the new policy on our site. A new fees and credit policy becomes effective seven (7) days after its publication. Fees for new services and promotional campaigns are effective at the launch of the said services.


9 Privacy

We take several steps to protect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy is available at our homepage


10 General – Arbitration

This Agreement and the terms and conditions herein, shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the province of Ontario (ON), Canada. You agree that any controversy or claim arising out of, or relating to this Agreement or our services shall be first settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the arbitration rules of Better Business Bureau or the commercial arbitration regulations or laws of Ontario.

Should arbitration fail, you further submit to the legal jurisdiction of the province of Ontario (ON) and agree that any legal action or proceeding regarding this Agreement, whether it be on a local, state, or federal level, shall be brought in Whitby, ON, or a court within the jurisdiction of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We do not guarantee continuous or secure access to our services, and operation of our site may be interfered with by factors outside of our control. 
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. We may change this User Agreement or our Privacy Policy in our sole discretion and our changes are effective after we provide you with at least seven (7) days’ notice of the changes by posting the changes on our site or sending email to users who select such notification.
