Assistant or Associate Professor, Food and Nutritional Sciences (tenure-stream appointment)

Job Description

The School of Food and Nutritional Sciences at Brescia University College invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning July 1, 2022. The preferred candidate will possess a doctoral degree and industry experience in one or more of the following areas of expertise: quality management and food safety in foodservice and/or food processing, and nutrition communications. An RD would also be an asset. The successful candidate will have a strong record of research accomplishments and demonstrated abilities in teaching and mentoring. Additional objectives of the position are to expand and enhance the outreach of our Food and Nutritional Sciences program, build connections with the food industry and other institutions, and contribute to program development. The successful candidate would also be expected to show educational leadership within the program commensurate with experience. The successful candidate must be an independent and creative problem solver, able to work autonomously in areas of responsibility while collaborating with other members of the School.
