Note: This is a full-time Support position (35 hours per week).


Duties: 
Reporting to the Director, End User Solutions, and under the guidance of team Coordinators, the incumbent provides high-quality customer services by facilitating and supporting a productive and innovative learning environment involving computers, IoT devices, audio-visual, and other technologies within the Innovation Village environment, offices, labs and other locations. Responsibilities include installing, customizing, maintaining and debugging hardware and software on PC, MAC, mobile, IoT and cloud platforms. The incumbent provides guidance, advice and assistance to technicians, faculty and students in support of innovative learning activities. The incumbent maintains inventory of technology for loan and use within the Innovation Village environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·        Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Information Technology or related field of study

·        Minimum 3 years’ experience gained in a technical support environment performing hardware/software setup, technology analysis, configuration, and support

·        An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements

·        G Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle

·        Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·        Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team

·        Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
